Child Care

Food at Child Care

Recently the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has made many changes to the Child Care Regulations.  One of the biggest changes is the adoption of the 6 CCR 1010-2, which is the Colorado Retail Food Establishment regulations.  What this means is that Child care facilities are required to meet the same regulations as all retail food facilities in the state of Colorado. To help many of these facilities meet these new regulations we as the Pueblo City-County Health Department along with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment have put together many guidance documents, which you can find below.

With these changes the Pueblo City-County Health Department is dedicated to helping each of our child care facilities meet the new regulations.  If you have any questions feel free to stop by our office 101 W 9th St. Pueblo, Colorado or call us at 719-583-4307.
